Our commitment

Emergency Car Keys is committed to making emergencycarkeys.com usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation. We are actively working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

What we've done

This site includes the following accessibility features:

• Skip links to jump directly to the main content, navigation, or footer.
• Semantic landmark regions (header, navigation, main content, footer) for screen reader and keyboard navigation.
• Visible keyboard focus indicators on every interactive element, including the FAQ accordion.
• Links that are underlined, not distinguished by color alone.
• An "Accessibility options" panel (the icon in the corner of every page) offering: adjustable text size and line spacing, a light, dark, and high-contrast theme, a dyslexia-friendly font, an on-screen reading guide, a large-cursor mode, an enhanced focus ring, and a reduce-motion mode that also respects your operating system's reduced-motion setting automatically.
• A quick light/dark theme toggle available at all times.

Known limitations

We are not aware of any critical accessibility barriers on this site as of the date above. The on-screen accessibility menu is an aid layered on top of the site's underlying markup; it improves the experience but does not replace the accessible-by-default design and code we maintain directly.
